Your letter will be delivered to 2020 Presidential candidates who have not signed the No Fossil Fuel Money pledge:
I write today to urge you to sign the No Fossil Fuel Money pledge. Already, ten major Democratic Presidential candidates have signed the pledge. I’m counting on you to join them by putting the health of our families, our climate, and our democracy over fossil fuel industry profits.
Taking the pledge means that a politician or candidate’s campaign will adopt a policy to not knowingly accept any contributions over $200 from the PACs, executives, or front groups of fossil fuel companies – companies whose primary business is the extraction, processing, distribution, or sale of oil, gas, or coal.
Real climate leadership means taking immediate action to wind down the fossil fuel industry and its influence on our politics, ramping up investment in renewables and a clean energy economy for all, and protecting communities from the impacts of the transition.
Taking the pledge proves that you stand with people, not the big polluters destroying our climate. Learn more and sign the pledge today at: http://nofossilfuelmoney.org/politician-signup/
